Ja Morant Suspended

Morant, the team's leading scorer, livestreamed the video of himself with the apparent weapon on his Instagram account early Saturday morning after the Nuggets beat the Grizzlies on Friday night. Glendale police said Wednesday there was not enough evidence to pursue criminal charges against Morant.

The Grizzlies initially announced the 23-year-old would miss at least two games. Immediately after Glendale police said they would not pursue charges, the team said he would not play at least four more games.

Creed III

Creed 3 officially replaces Apollo Creed in the Rocky franchise by giving Viktor Drago a similar role to play. From the beginning of the Creed franchise, the movies focused on Apollo Creed's secret son Adonis (Michael B. Jordan) have copied some of the same beats that the original Rocky movies did. Adonis took on the lead role of the franchise previously occupied by Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa. Meanwhile, the movies saw the Italian Stallion make the transition from fighter to trainer, effectively making him the Creed movies' version of Mickey Goldmill. They even brought back other characters from past movies.

Kendrick Perkins vs. JJ Redick

On Tuesday, Perkins made an appearance on ESPN’s First Take along with Stephen A. Smith and JJ Reddick where the trio were arguing if Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić is running away with the NBA MVP, which would give him his third in a row.

While speaking, Reddick, who is a former NBA player himself, said, “What we’ve just witnessed is the problem with this show where we create narratives that do not exist in reality. The implication, what you are implying, that the white voters that vote on NBA are racist. That they favor white people. You just said that. Yes, you did! Yes, you did … That’s exactly what you implied, Kendrick Perkins.”
